Earlier in the year, at the time of the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, we held a competition to write a letter to the king to tell him all about our school, our High Town community and our town.

With the King having chosen Luton as one of his very first places to visit following his accession to the throne, we wanted him, and Her Majesty Queen Camilla, to know all about our school and why it is such a great place to learn.

The best letters were sent to Buckingham Palace. Each winner received a certificate and a commemorative coronation mug.

This week we were delighted to receive an envelope from Buckingham Palace containing a thank-you card from the King and the Queen.

We were deeply touched by your most kind and thoughtful message following our Coronation. We are enormously grateful to everyone who took part in the celebrations, and particularly appreciate that you so generously took the time to write to us on this very special occasion.

We’d love to hear what you think, so why not add a comment here?
