A group of six of our Year 6 pupils visited the University of Bedfordshire on Wednesday 8th November to take part in the Level Trust Tenth Anniversary Education and Poverty Conference.
The event brought together school leaders, family workers and Pupil Premium co-ordinators from schools around the region.
Long-time friend of St Matthew’s, Stephanie Davies, CEO of Laughology, joined a range of other speakers at the event.
Our pupils formed a Young People’s Panel and took part in a Question & Answer session with delegates attending the conference.

I was lucky enough to chair the Young People’s Panel, made up of a group of lovely children from @StMatthewsLuton.
So proud of them - they did their school and our town very proud! Hands down my most favourite part of the day!
