A group of Year 5 and Year 6 children spent a lunchtime recently exploring Luton Borough Council’s plans for the Wardown Park play area.
The children studied the maps closely and shared what they liked about parks they had visited before. They also discussed the new plans and suggested what else they would love to see in the playground.
Their ideas included water and sand play, space for wildlife and plenty of slides! They also spoke about how important it is for the play area to feel clean and safe.
The children took their time, spotted the finer details and gave thoughtful feedback. It was wonderful to see them sharing their ideas for a space that local children will enjoy.
