This half term, children from Year 5 have been working as part of the Year 5 Florist Enterprise group.
The group have been working alongside Ruth, from Ruth Baker’s Florist on High Town Road to create their own dried flower bouquets and plant pots.
The aim of the group is to not only use their creative skills to design and make their products, but also to put their sales skills to the test by setting up a pop-up shop to sell their creations.
Throughout the weeks the group have designed a marketing strategy and looked through costs before coming up with the final prices for their pieces.
On Friday 16th October the children will be holding their pop-up shop outside school between 3pm and 4pm.
The children have all worked really hard to design their products, and all the money they raise will go towards the charities the school is supporting this year.
