Are you in Year 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 and love getting creative at home? We’d love to showcase your work!

We are inviting our budding artists to submit a piece of their own artwork for the St Matthew’s Art Gallery, which will be on display during our Parent Consultation Evenings on 20th and 21st October.

The gallery is all about giving children who enjoy being creative at home the chance to share their talents with our school community. Parents and carers will be able to visit the gallery and enjoy the fantastic work on display during both evenings.

Choose Your Theme

Your creation should be inspired by one of our three themes:

🏘️ LOCAL
Celebrate Luton and the place where we live. Think about local buildings, parks, people, landmarks or anything that makes Luton special to you.

🌍 CULTURAL
Celebrate your family culture, or explore an art form or tradition from another culture that interests you.

🍂 AUTUMNAL
Celebrate the season we are in, with its wonderful colours, shapes, wildlife and changing landscapes.

What Can I Create?

Almost anything! We want you to use your imagination. Your entry could be a painting, drawing, photograph, poem, model, sculpture, collage or even a piece of wild art made using natural materials.

The important thing is that it is your own creation and something you have made at home.

How Do I Enter?

Please bring your finished entry into school on Friday 16th October and take it straight to the Common Room.

Please make sure your first and last name and class are clearly written on the back or underside of your entry.

We can’t wait to see what our talented St Matthew’s artists create!

And don’t forget – parents and carers are invited to visit the St Matthew’s Art Gallery on 20th and 21st October during our Parent Consultation Evenings to enjoy our very own celebration of creativity. 🎨✨
