Introducing our new addition to St Matthews Primary School…
… our Road Safety Parking Buddies.
From Monday 6th November, you will see our Road Safety Parking Buddies along High Town Road and Cobden Street, to show you where parking is not allowed .
Please remember, no one is allowed to park on yellow zigzag lines, double yellow lines, single yellow lines (between the hours of 8am to 6pm) or park half up on the pavement. Pavements are for people walking.
We have had a number of near misses with children and parents being hurt, which is avoidable if everyone acts responsibly.
Thank you to those of you who walk, scoot or cycle to school and to those of you who park legally to keep all families safe at the busy starts and ends of the school day.
