With fewer than eight days to go until the start of our 173-mile cycle ride from York to Luton, our six cyclists have been hard at work, putting in the hours, covering hundreds of miles to train for the event. This has resulted, for the most part, in a crack team of expert riders at the utmost peak of their physical fitness and cycling prowess. The video shows one of our riders starting out on yet another gruelling training ride. No names, no pack-drill.

Update from Mr Chaplen:

Great team training ride today reaching seventy miles and getting plenty of hills in as well! Two weeks today and we will be on our way up to York! The guys have been doing fantastic to go from little to no riding to reaching these distances. If you haven’t already sponsored us or shared our story it would be really appreciated! #QB173

Mr Green has been out on the bike today putting in over 50 training miles whilst away off the coast of Scotland. That is dedication! Only 18 days to go!

Training is going well for our #QB173 cycle team as they took advantage of the sun on Saturday to ride 56miles to Bicester Village and back! Thank you to everyone for your support so far. Less than 4 weeks to go!

7 weeks to go! The plans are coming together and the support we are getting from the local community has been unbelievable! The team were back out in some extremely windy conditions today on the bike getting the miles in! Thank you to everyone who has donated or helped out in anyway so far, 15% of our target reached!!!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far! With only 9 weeks to go the cycling team have been hard at work during their Half Term putting the miles in on their bikes!
