Year 4 at Chellington

Our Year 4 children recently enjoyed their very first visit to the beautiful Chellington Centre — and what an adventure it was!

Staying overnight in the stunning stone building on the edge of the village, the children experienced a fun-filled stay, packed with exciting activities, teamwork and new challenges. From outdoor exploration to problem-solving games, every moment helped to build confidence, friendships and unforgettable memories.

One of the most exciting things about Chellington is that this is only the beginning. Every child has three opportunities to visit during their time in Key Stage 2 — once in Year 4, again in Year 5 and then finally in Year 6. Each visit is completely different, with new activities and experiences to enjoy every year.

In Year 4 and Year 5, children stay in cosy small dormitories inside the centre itself. By Year 6, they take on an even bigger adventure, sleeping outdoors in tents along with three or four of their classmates!

Enjoy this short video, which captures the Year 4 children’s visit in March.
