Get your parents to sign their permission on paper and then ask your teacher for a copy of the form. You can then staple your parents’ permission to the form. That should work.

What is a food flask and what do you put in it?
It’s a form of protector to keep food warm and to answer your other question, I am not quite sure.

If you did something really interesting that you want to write about on the very first weekend of the holiday, then go ahead and do it. Remember that the idea is that you do at least one piece of homework each week, resulting in at least six for the whole holiday.
