Fun Run Update

This charity event, planned by the St Matthew’s Charity Committee, will give every child the opportunity to set their own St Matthew’s World Record.

The fun run will take place around the school during the morning. Each child will be able to choose one of 20 pre-determined records to attempt.

General Running

  1. Most laps around the course
  2. Most laps wearing school uniform

Fancy Dress / Costumes

  1. Most laps dressed as a superhero
  2. Most laps in a dress
  3. Most laps in fancy dress (not a superhero)
  4. Most laps wearing a cape
  5. Most laps wearing your PJs
  6. Most laps dressed all in one colour
  7. Most laps as a team of 4 wearing the same outfit

Headgear / Balancing Challenges

  1. Most laps balancing a beanbag on your head
  2. Most laps wearing a cycling helmet
  3. Most laps wearing a hat
  4. Most laps balancing a ball on a racket

Carrying / Props

  1. Most laps carrying a small soft toy
  2. Most laps carrying a small book
  3. Most laps holding a bib as a team of 4
  4. Most laps carrying three balls

Sports / Ball Challenges

  1. Most laps dribbling a basketball
  2. Most laps wearing a football kit

Fun / Silly Clothing

      20. Most laps wearing odd socks

St Matthew’s fun runs are first and foremost about having fun and enjoying being active.

We will keep the donation page for this event open until the rescheduled date, so please do use link below to donate and feel free to share it with family and friends if you haven’t already. At the time of writing, 207 families have contributed a total of £1437.83.
