We have received the letter we had been anticipating from Ofsted following the “virtual” monitoring inspection that took place at the beginning of February. We are very pleased that Jason Howard HMI and Christine Dick HMI recognised all the good work that was taking place at the height of the national lockdown from January to March and noted that our school was “taking effective action to provide education in the current circumstances.”
The inspectors said that the school’s leaders had “helped pupils, teachers and parents understand how to get the best out of online learning”.
The letter continues, “Teachers have found imaginative ways to teach some of the more creative and practical aspects of subjects”.
The inspectors praised the way the school was using its “knowledge of pupils and their families to provide well- targeted help for those who need it.”
