We are pleased to be working with Luton Council’s Housing Solutions Team to offer a weekly Housing Advice Surgery for St Matthew’s parents and carers.
📅 Every Wednesday from 16 September 2026
🕣 8.30am–12.00pm
📍 St Matthew’s Primary School
💷 Free advice and support
The surgery gives families the opportunity to speak to a Housing Solutions Officer at an early stage, before any notice for possession has been issued, about housing concerns and the support that may be available.
Could the Housing Advice Surgery help you?
You may benefit from attending if you are:
- Living in unsuitable or overcrowded accommodation
- Experiencing rent arrears or financial difficulties connected with your housing
- Worried about losing your accommodation
- Finding it difficult to manage your current housing circumstances
Housing Solutions Officers can talk through your housing options, help you address housing-related problems and discuss possible support. This may include schemes such as Find Your Own, which can help people secure suitable accommodation.
Already receiving support from Luton Council?
If you are already working with a Housing Officer from Luton Council, please continue to contact your assigned officer directly rather than attending the surgery. They will be best placed to support your individual case.
If you have already received a notice for possession or eviction from your landlord, you should complete Luton Council’s online Housing Assistance form for further help.
Please come and talk to us
Housing difficulties can be much easier to address when advice is sought early. If you are concerned about your housing situation or think you may need some support, we encourage you to come along and speak to the Housing Solutions Team.
