Our friends at Women’s Aid in Luton, who hosted a stall at our Christmas Market in December, have some fundraising recipe calendars available. They are available on a “first come, first served” basis for £10 from the Women’s Aid in Luton head office at 32 – 42 Duke Street, Luton, LU2 0HH. There are about thirty still available. Pop in to the Women’s Aid office to get one or email info@womensaidinluton.org or phone 01582 876636 to reserve a calendar and then visit the Women’s Aid office to pay and collect. The calendar contains recipes for delicious meals that have been tried and tested by residents of Women’s Aid in Luton refuges. Luton’s own Nadiya Hussain, who shot to fame when she won The Great British Bake Off in 2015 and now appears regularly on our TV screens sharing her recipes with the nation, has contributed two of her recipes to the calendar.
