School Lunches

St Matthews Primary School will be changing the way parents order school meals from the start of the academic year in September 2023.

You must order your child’s meal in advance by 9:00am on the day. This is all set up and live on your ParentMail account/app.

Please see the accompanying Parent Guide below on how to do this on ParentMail via accounts. All meal choices will be available to view on ParentMail during selection process; the menu is also displayed on this page. Please go ahead and book your child’s meal choices for the first week back at school.

Our new Year 3 children are no longer entitled to the Government funded Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM). If you wish your child to have a school lunch, you will need to pay for this. School lunches cost £2.40 per day (£12.00 per week).

If you have applied for Free School Meals and qualify, this will be reflected on your ParentMail account/app and you will not need to pay for school lunches. For more information on Free School Meals and how to apply directly to the local authority please select the link below.

Any parents who have difficulties accessing ParentMail, or would like help applying for Free School Meals please get in touch with the school, or come into school, from Friday 1st September 2023.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation in this matter, the school is here to support you in this new process, any queries please get in touch, in person or via email on admin.stmatthews@smps.uk.
