Art Ambassadors Visit London

Earlier this term, our subject ambassadors for Art were treated to a day in London to visit two iconic galleries and view a host of the world-famous works of art on display.

Their visit included the National Gallery, situated at the edge of Trafalgar Square in the centre of London, followed by a walk to the River Thames and along the South Bank to Tate Modern — a former power station which has been an art gallery since 2000.

Our video presentation display captures the flavour of the visit and includes some of the paintings seen by our pupils on the visit.

They were all inspired by the quality of the work they saw and were astounded by the range of different styles that are housed in the two galleries.
