At different times, families may experience situations that are difficult to manage. We often hear in the media about families who are struggling or facing significant challenges, sometimes placing them at risk.
During these times, parents may need guidance and support, but knowing which service or organisation to contact can be confusing. The Early Help Offer provides a clear pathway for parents to request support. This may involve being signposted to appropriate services or completing an assessment.
Support may include help with behaviour, parenting guidance, bereavement counselling, health advice, housing, or assistance with specific medical needs, among other services.
The diagrams below provide an outline of the support that we are able to give to parents when this is appropriate.
