We are continuing our three-day challenge to collect 1000 items to donate to the Luton Foodbank.
We have thirty classes each with thirty children. Do the maths: 30 x 30 = 900. With more than 140 members of staff, our school community comprises more than a thousand people. So if everyone brought in just one item, we would achieve our goal.
We will be collecting on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Children can bring their tins … or boxes … or packets … or jars to their own classroom. Class teachers will take them in and then keep them in class until they are collected by some of our Year 6 helpers.
