As we are sure you will have seen, Friday 15th November is the annual BBC Children In Need fundraising day. Already stars of stage and screen are under going physical and mental challenges on TV to raise money for this worthy cause.
Here at St Matthew’s we will be once again supporting Children In Need during the day next Friday.
We would love to see as many children as possible coming to school wearing something BRIGHT YELLOW to match the colour of Pudsey Bear’s fur. A yellow hat, a yellow scarf, yellow gloves, yellow T-shirt – even yellow trousers and leggings! Just one item like this would be ideal but it would be interesting to see of someone arrives in yellow from top to toe like an explosion in a custard factory!!
During the day, classes will be taking part in a Fun Run around the schools grounds, so they will need to have PE shoes on for the day as well.
There will be opportunity for families to donate a £1 towards the Children In Need total if you are able to do so.
