More Family Learning Online

Luton Adult Learning have published details of new start dates for their Family Learning Online workshops and courses starting next week.
Talk, Make and Learn
Talk, Make and Learn is a course for parents and children aged 3-7 which supports parents to understand and develop their child’s communication skills. This would be great for any parents with children transitioning from nursery to reception in the next academic year.
Be a Better Me
Be a Better Me is a parent only course that focuses on supporting any parents who feel they need to gain a more positive perspective on life, which could be particularly helpful in the current situation.
Managing Your Money
Managing your Money is another parent only course that will help parents and families to review their household budget and find out about lots of tips and ideas to cut costs.
With the recent government guidance for people to wear a face covering when out and about but unable to social distance, there are a couple of workshops to help families to make their own reusable face coverings which will mean they are not using precious medical supplies and are being environmentally friendly.
Next week, they will be starting their new Culture Chest Cook-along which is an opportunity for families to share their traditions, celebrations and favourite food from their culture.
You can find out more about the individual workshops and courses and how to enrol on the Family Learning page on their website at https://www.lutonacl.ac.uk/learn-with-us/family-learning.html
