COMMUNITY GIFT SHOP

communitygiftshop

The cost of living crisis has hit us all.

We are all aware of how difficult it is for everyone, especially during the festive season. With this in mind, we are fortunate enough to be able to have our first ever St Matthew’s Community Gift Shop. The shop is open to everyone in school regardless of their faith, income or if they are celebrating Christmas or not.

There are brand new toys and games suitable for all ages, e.g. Articulate!, Monopoly, Connect4, Pop Up Pirate, Operation, Five Second Rule, Pictionary, Science Lab, Blockbusters, Scrabble, educational toys, board games, dolls, cars and the list goes on … we really don’t have time to list everything.

Everything in the shop is free of charge but we would welcome a donation of money for the Luton Foodbank. However there is no expectation to do so.

The gift shop will be open till the last day of term on Tuesday 19th December. It will be running on an appointment system. There are lots of toys left looking for a good home. You are welcome to come and choose toys for your child/children by booking a slot. If you have any questions or if you would like to visit the shop to get a present for your child/children, please call our Family Worker, Mrs Shaheen Hanif, on 01582 723970 ext. 214 or email shaheenhanif@smps.uk as soon as possible.

Our gift shop has been made possible by the wonderful team at KidsOut in High Town Road, supported by the Rotary Club of Great Britain. Find out more about their work HERE.
