Y3 visit to the Natural History Museum

Dear Parents and Carers,

Year 3 Natural History Museum Trip

All the Year 3 children are excited for their trip this week to the Natural History Museum to finish off our termly unit of ‘Deadly Disasters”. In preparation for the trip, the Year 3 team wished to make you all aware of a few arrangements for the day in question.

Beech & Tulip will go on their trip on Thursday, 31st March

Robin & Dolphin will go on their trip on Friday, 1st April.

We would kindly ask that on the day of your child’s trip, that they arrive at school for 8:15am at the Cobden Street gate as we are leaving school at 8.30am. This will allow us to account for traffic as we are travelling by coach.

Your child should wear suitable trainers as there will be lots of walking but must wear their full school uniform. Children should bring a bring a packed lunch and a bottle of water in a named plastic bag along with a coat should the weather be cold and wet. If your child receives Free School Meals, then a lunch will be provided. Please ensure that any lunch items are free from nuts, as we have several children in the year group with allergies. Also no fizzy drinks please. Lastly, we anticipate arriving back to school for 3:15pm. The children will be dismissed from their usual gate (Cobden Street) at their normal times. Should you have any questions or queries please speak to your child’s teacher at the gate and they will be more than happy to answer them.

Thank you as always for your co-operation.

Yours sincerely

Mr I. Patterson
