Throughout the year, day after day, many of our pupils go to play in People’s Park after school and during the weekends and holidays.
Safeguarding our pupils is the most important aspect of our role and we want them to be as safe as possible out of school as well as while they are in our care on the school premises.
With this in mind, we are fully supportive of the proposal to turn the disused pavilion in People’s Park into a People’s Café. A facility such as this to encourage more and more families to the park can only enhance the atmosphere in the park and consequently generate a greater feeling of community and safety.
We have recently been proud to host an exhibition of the architect’s plans for the People’s Café and we look forward to providing as much support as we are able to in the future development of the project.
