Re: Home learning for children absent from school due to COVID-19
We hope that you and your loved ones are all safe and well despite the current COVID-19 situation.
If your child is absent from school due to COVID-19, we will provide a five day home learning pack. We are temporarily unable to provide Google Classroom as part of our home learning offer, as a result of staff absence, due to COVID-19.
Although it may be difficult, it is essential that our children continue with their learning whilst they are home, as we do not want them to lose the knowledge and skills that they have gained.
Please phone the school office on 01582 723970, or email us on admin.stmatthews@smps.uk by 12noon on the day that you require a home learning pack for your child.
Home learning packs will be available for collection only from the main school gate, between 2pm – 3pm each day. If you are isolating, please arrange for a neighbour or friend to collect your child’s home learning pack.
