Christmas has been slowly creeping up on us and we get really festive from tomorrow.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 15th December, weather permitting, will see our Key Stage 1 classes gathering on the playground for some festive singing.
Then they will all enjoy their delicious Christmas lunch prepared by our amazing cooks – roast turkey, chicken sausages, roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy (or vegetable wellington for those choose a vegetarian choice), followed by Christmas pudding or Christmas ice cream.
Thought out all this, everyone in Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage is encouraged to take part in our Christmas Jumper Day. You can either wear a Christmas jumper, or decorate a regular jumper with tinsel, stars or Christmassy colours.
On Thursday 16th December, it is the turn of Key Stage 2 for all of the above. More Christmas singing on the North Street playground, including our traditional rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas. If you’re passing by the school and you hear the singing … we can only apologise – it does tend to get a bit noisy!
Christmas dinner for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 is on Thursday with the same dining choices as for KS1/FS above.
And we look forward to seeing lots of Christmas jumpers and other festive clothes throughout the Key Stage 2 classes on Thursday.
