The Captain Sir Tom Moore 100 challenge

The sun shone on the runners today for our contribution to the Captain Sir Tom Moore 100 Challenge.

All 28 classes took part with most children completing three laps of the course around the school grounds, with some managing four laps to make their class total up to one hundred. As each runner completed a lap, they moved one of the wristbands from the LAPS TO GO box into the LAPS COMPLETED box.

Reporter Sam Read came along and later in the day, the following report appeared on BBC Look East.

The first count of the money raised put the total approaching £500 raised for the Captain Tom Moore Foundation with more expected next week.

STOP PRESS … THE TOTAL RAISED THROUGH DONATIONS HAS REACHED £704 !

What a fantastic effort by everyone involved!
