Over the coming weeks we will be beginning work on a brand new community garden space within the school grounds. We hope that over time it will become a great space for the children to learn about planting and growing seeds and vegetables as well as becoming a haven for wildlife and small community projects.
To support this we are asking for donations of any plant pots, vegetable troughs, bulbs or seed packets you may have hanging around at home or in your garden or shed that you no longer use. With the weather changing for the better now is a great time for a clear out and we would happily take any old pots off your hands in order to put them to use again in our new garden space.
If you are able to help at all please bring your donations into school on Monday 26th April, they can be left at your child’s gate in the morning where they will be cleaned and collected for use.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming everyone to use the space once it is up and running soon!
