Year Five Reach Out To Care Homes

Our Year Five classes have been learning how to write letters effectively during the last few days.

They decided to write to the residents and staff of a handful of Luton’s care homes, sending them season’s greetings.

Care homes have been at the forefront of this year’s Coronavirus pandemic news and the classes wanted to send them messages of goodwill at Christmas time.

Each class wrote to one care home – Little Bramingham Farm, Mulberry Court, St Mary’s and Moorlands Gardens.

The photos below show Mr Bumpus and Miss Dhanoa delivering the letters to each care home.
