We will be saying a formal goodbye to our Year 6 pupils — the Class of 2019 — on Monday afternoon at our traditional Graduation Ceremony.
Graduation certificates will be awarded to all pupils and there will be individual awards presented to selected pupils for progress and achievement in a number of subjects as well as awards for character and attitude. These awards will be presented by members of our Year 6 teaching team, as well as a special guest.
This event has a tradition of being one of many smiles and maybe a few tears as the end of this chapter in our pupils’ lives draws near. For many parents who have older children who are now high school pupils, this is the end of many years of being part of the St Matthew’s family. We thank you all for everything you have done to help us prepare your children for the next phase of their education.
The Graduation Ceremony takes place at High Town Community Centre on Monday 22nd July from 2.00-3.00pm.
