As we draw near to the end of yet another very busy year, which culminated in the visit last week by Ofsted inspectors, we are planning to show our appreciation for all of the children’s hard work.
Once again, and as we expected, our visitors were full of admiration for all of the impressive pupils they met and observed.
They were very complimentary about their attention in class, the quality of work many of them produce during lessons, their behaviour and attitude around the school, and their awareness of their role as ambassadors for the school.
We know this already and we see examples of these characteristics on a daily basis throughout the school, from our youngest pupils in the Reception classes to those about to leave us in Year 6.
On Friday morning, we will be taking every pupil to Cineworld at the Galaxy Centre, for their own private screening of Toy Story 4. This will be in school time, leaving after morning registration and returning to school in time for lunch.
UPDATE: Everyone had a great time and walked safely to the cinema and back to school. Here are a few photos of the visit.
