You would not recognise St Matthew’s now, so much building work has happened during the last few years, with more to come around the playgrounds.

I can’t wait for the Paralympics! I hope Team GB wins! I still can’t believe USA got 90 medals and came first on the leader board while Team GB came 3rd after China. Well never mind as long as we don’t come under fifth in the Paralympics. Hope everyone thought the Olympics were fabulous. Have a nice end to your summer holiday.

Thanks Edzai, that is a nice thing to say. The Year 6 leavers’ assembly was marvellous this morning. Good luck at your new high school. Work had, have fun and do well. (I am going back to being in Otter class in Year 5 after the holiday.) Have a great summer holiday.
It is really sad to leave St Matthew’s.
I am going to miss all the teachers whose classes I used to be in.
