New windows

The eight Key Stage 2 classrooms that face on to the playing field and the KS2 playground are all in the process of being fitted with new windows.

Here are a few photos giving a sneak preview of the refurbished Foundation Stage rooms.

Car park and new entrance

The photos below show work being carried out to extend the staff car park towards the coniferous tree in the first image. This is because about half a dozen parking spaces have been lost where the car park has been dug up in the foreground of the image below. A wider area surrounding the London Plane tree will be block-paved to create a much more spacious piazza area from Havelock Road up to the main entrance to the school. A more prominent entrance to the school grounds on Havelock Road will be created as part of this development.
